More about this site
Following my success with our regional website – www.cvni.org – I was asked to look at our national site.
A new CMS called sKelter was to be used. The site is live, but I am currently modifying the templates and CSS for this site to produce a crisper, more aesthetic layout.

More about this site
As part of a project I was running, we were required to produce a web site. I was unhappy with the result of asking someone to do it, so I delved into the world of web design for the first time!
This is the third incarnation of this site and the first one to have moved away from tables and towards XHTML and CSS.
ourwildgarden.org

More about this site
After working with the school as a volunteer for many years, helping to design and implement this garden, we decided it would be nice to share it with the online world.
This site was one of my first attempts at using a CMS and I went with PHP Nuke to begin with. I didn’t feel it was intuitive enough for the school to use, so the site is currently static, with a couple of PHP scripts to provide some interaction.

More about this site
Fundraising Training Ltd were struggling with a content management system designed specifically for schools and a very tired-looking site. I was tasked to redesign the site around some icons created by a graphic designer and used in their printed material.
The new site is fresh and friendly. It uses textpattern to allow the client to easily update the site as and when they wish, without being at the beck and call of an ISP.
Conservation Volunteers Northern Ireland

More about this site
Conservation Volunteers Northern Ireland is a region of BTCV, the largest practical conservation charity in the UK.
They needed a fresh new website to reach a wider audience and to actively encourage and inspire a new generation of volunteers. The site also needed to share a lot of Conservation Volunteers’ knowledge about trees and wildflowers.
The site is low on bandwidth, enabling fast loading time, even on a dial-up connection and works well across all modern browsers.
